Feeling Guilty

Is it normal for a working mom to feel guilty all the time? It is normal. There are demands and pulls from all sides. When it is hard to cope and there is no help and only blame from all sides. It is natural to feel guilty. Feeling inadequate, and therefore cannot concentrate on any of the tasks.

Put Yourself First

This advice seems contradictory to logic but hear us out. Think of yourself. Keep time for yourself to do something you enjoy. See a friend. Go to a movie. Read a book. Listen to your favorite music. Watch TV. Have a cup of tea. Start with one hour a week, and you can see the difference. Pamper yourself. You need time alone to take care of the most important person in the family who holds it all together. Only in this way, will you be able to recuperate and work 100% on your work, your kids and your family.

Put in 100% for work, for kids, for family and for yourself. Then you will feel free and satisfied with yourself.

Share your issues, your problem with someone: your spouse, your friend, or a family member. You’ll feel much better. Find a support group, you can start here.

Smile

Remember to smile. You will be surprised how a smile can help you and everyone around you feel much better. Smile.
