Prioritize
Everyone is flooded with more work than imaginable. Don’t complain nor worry, nothing will get done that way. Prioritize is the most valuable time saver. Be it, personal task or work, prioritize and attend to it, one at a time. Take note of deadline, finish before the deadline, then no need to play catch up. Catching up is a lot more stressful, not to mention time consuming.
Organize
Organize time, work, space and life. Spend time to organize and work efficiently. Know yourself well; space out work, play and responsibility to achieve a balanced life. Give credit to yourself when a job is done.
Plan Ahead
SSave time by planning ahead. For example, put errands together, finish them in one go. Similarly, group related tasks together, this way work will be accomplished a lot faster. For any task, put in the best effort the first time. Bosses will be happy with the work and more interesting tasks will come along.
Find a Good Helper
Assign tasks to others whenever applicable. No, never push everything to others. However, do what is proper, train others when opportunities arise. Learn to work as a team and advance together. Use electronic helper, at this day and age, everyone has a gadget in hand, anyone without one will fall behind.
Leave Time for Yourself
Some people work extremely hard and will not stop until the work is done. A person is not a machine, not only has to spend time to eat, sleep, enjoy life but also takes time to re-generate energy and maintains the body balance. Keep a health routine, exercise regularly, so that the immune system can work. Health, energy and productiveness go hand in hand.
Be Happy
It is very important to be happy. Physical and mental health is related. If unhappy with others, be it coworkers, spouse or partner, then unable to concentrate, as a result nothing gets done. On the same token, be happy with yourself. Be frank and fair to yourself. Never hold grudge. Things cannot be delayed any longer, face up to it. Be open minded, anything can be resolved. Think positive.
